Since India got out of the Asian Cup team in 2012 due to bad performance, let’s see whether India will participate this year or not. However, the Asia Cup is well known as the match between two countries, i.e., India & Pakistan. However, Sri Lanka will host this international cricket tournament in 2022.

Asia Cup 2022 Venue

In 2008, Our beloved country, Pakistan, hosted the Asia Cup tournament. Later, in 2018, Pakistan aimed again to host this cup, but unfortunately, it has not happened due to some political issues. It is the 15th Asia Cup that would play in 2022, but as the pandemic was over the world, it got late. Now in 2022, it is going to be played. The Asia cup 2022 will be hosted by Sri Lanka.

It is to be announced that there will be six teams in total that will participate in the Asia Cup 2022. The teams of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are confirmed by the ACC Cricket board. At the same time, the rest of the team will participate after completing the qualifier round.
