Ehsaas emergency cash program was started back in 2018  by previous government, but as soon as Mian Nawaz Sharif’s government came, they stopped this program, but now after the election, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf started it again. The government has come so they have restored this program .

Now all the people from all over Pakistan whose salary is less than 40 thousand are eligible to take 14 thousand rupees

Ehsaas Program Phase 2

Eligibility Criteria

• The households are being identified on the basis of the new Ehsaas survey.
• 8171 money recovery messages are being sent to the eligible families in a phased manner.
• According to the Ehsaas policy, payments are being made only to women from eligible households through biometric verification.
• The Ehsaas Emergency Cash will be paid to the woman of the eligible family whose name has been sent to 8171 about eligibility and money collection.
• Eligible women should bring their original National Identity Card with them at the time of collectio

 

Objective

The objective of the second phase of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program is to provide emergency cash assistance to 12 million deserving households at the rate of Rs.12 thousand per household.

 

This assistance is being provided to the deserving families whose economic conditions have been affected by the third wave of the corona epidemic this year.

• Nationwide payments under the program started on June 16, 2021.
• Last year, Ehsaas emergency cash assistance was provided to one and a half crore households.
• Ehsaas emergency cash is being distributed to 1 crore 20 lakh households this year.
• In this phase of Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program also, payments are being made to deserving households at the rate of 12 thousand rupees per household.
• Ehsaas Emergency Cash amount is given only once to the eligible households.
