1. What is USAT?

USAT stands for undergraduate studies admission test. The higher education commission (HEC) will conduct USAT for undergraduate admission in universities operating all over Pakistan. it is designed on the scholastic aptitude test (SAT) pattern. It covers all subjects of Engineering, Medicine (Allied health), IT, Management, and social sciences at the undergraduate entry level.

2. Eligibility criteria for USAT

Here are the eligibility criteria for HEC USAT Test 2022

• Students who have passed intermediate FSC (medical/premedical), F.A, and I.C.S.
• Students who are waiting for the 2nd year final result.

3. Marks division of USAT Test:

There will be 75 marks for MCQS and 25 marks for essays. One hour will be awarded for 75 MCQs.  In 75 MCQs, 35 will be of verbal reasoning and 25 will be of quantitative reasoning. For an essay, 40 minutes will be awarded. You have to write 400-500 words either in Urdu or in English. The further details of verbal and quantitative reasoning is given:

4. Passing marks of the HEC USAT Test

The total marks for USAT are 100.  So the passing marks are 50.

6. Test frequency:

Students can take 4 attempts of the USAT in a year. If students fail in USAT they can take an attempt every three months.
