Teachers from six locations will receive 40 hours of intensive training with the courses organized by the CPR of the Ministry of Education and developed by the benchmarks in Bijective AI and Murcia Artificial Intelligence (MIA)
This initiative, a pioneer in the Region, aims for students of technological training cycles to acquire basic knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.
Training of Teaching Staff
From this week, and until next October 1, teachers of training cycles in the Region of Murcia can access online Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses organized by the Center for Teachers and Resources (CPR) of the Region of Murcia, attached to the General Directorate of Human Resources, Educational Planning, and Evaluation of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The courses, taught by expert engineers in AI and new technologies from the leading Cartagena company in this type of technology, Bijective, have the syllabus developed by the Murcia Artificial Intelligence (MIA) association.
The students of this first AI course made up of more than twenty teachers from Murcia, Cartagena will be able to solve problems that traditional algorithms are not capable of solving.
During the ten days that these courses consist of, training cycle teachers will learn about time series analysis, natural language processing, regression and classification of tabulated data, and convolutional neural networks, among other aspects. With this training, they will be able to transmit this knowledge to young people who carry out professional studies in the technology sector and facilitate their access to quality jobs.
The Minister of Education and Culture, Maria Isabel, pointed out that “this sector is one of the most fascinating and with the most projection”. In addition, she added that “from the Government of the Region we will continue betting on innovation and the training of professionals.”
Specialization course in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data
The Ministry of Education and Culture inaugurates this school year, which has an offer of 30 places, taught at the CIFP Carlos III in Cartagena, with 600 teaching hours.
Among the objectives of the course are the application of new forms of interaction in business that improve productivity through artificial intelligence; its application in business decision processes or the integration of systems for the exploitation of large volumes of data by applying Big Data solutions.
The growing demand for professionals in the sector, both in the Region and in the rest of Spain, makes this degree an ideal means for professional development as an expert systems programmer, data analyst, and developer of artificial intelligence and Big Data.
